Mr John ThompsonDear Friend I thought I would drop you a few lines to let you know how we are getting along, we are all well at the preasand - I received your letter a few days ago and was glad to hear from you, I suppose Callie is around Butlerville = When your father comes out here you must coat him until he says you may go along. John we are going to move back to Decatur next week. I am glad of it to for it is to lone some here. If you come out we will run all over Decatur and have a good time. It is cold and rainey.
